RPM fans and friends,
First off, thank you all. Thank you for supporting us over the decades as we have had the honor of making music and sharing in your good times. It’s been a wild ride all this time, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Recently, Dave Richter announced his retirement from the band. We wish him well on all his future endeavors and thank him for all the years he has been with the band serving as our lead vocalist. You can find Dave at his brand new Bar & Grill - Greene’s Pour House at the Granary in Oshkosh opening soon, as well as Greene’s Pour House in Neenah. We want to extend our best wishes to Dave and Bobby as they continue to bring the awesome food and atmosphere that is Greene’s Pour House to the masses.
As with Dave, several members of the RPM band family have many important matters that we need to focus on now. We cannot currently devote the time and energy to put on the quality of show that you and our amazing clients have come to expect from the band. We have decided that now is the best time to focus that limited time and energy to our families and the things that we hold most important in life. Music and performing will continue to be with all of us, as that part of life is forever embedded in our souls. You will find us all out in the music scene here and there still, but the busy touring schedule of the band will be put on hiatus for the foreseeable future.
We will be finishing out our remaining shows on the calendar for 2019 (with special guest musicians joining in). These are: Kroll’s West before the Packer game on Sunday Nov. 10th; Anduzzi’s Howard on Saturday Nov. 23rd; and Thanksgiving Eve at Headliners Bar on Wednesday Nov. 27th - where we are planning some cool things (TBA) as this will be our last party with you all for the foreseeable future. Mark these dates on your calendar as we want to spend our last few shows of 2019 with as many of our friends as we can!
There are literally hundreds of people and entities that have been a part of RPM over the years that we owe so much gratitude to, but we can’t possible fit them all here without this post being a mile long…. so, let us just say… to all the spouses, children, family members, musicians, sound crews, lighting crews, agents, venues, friends, and of course you… the fans… THANK YOU!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being with us on our journey and allowing us to be a small part of your lives and entertaining you for so long!
